Site readiness
Confirm works are complete enough for cleaning and other trades will not immediately re-soil areas.
A completed renovation still needs a defined cleaning scope. Discuss site readiness, ordinary dust, surface protection and handover requirements before cleaning begins. Active works and hazardous dust require separate assessment.
Define inclusions, frequency, access and exclusions before accepting a quotation. The methods and arrangements on this page are proposed for discussion and must match the agreed property requirements.
Confirm works are complete enough for cleaning and other trades will not immediately re-soil areas.
Identify accessible surfaces and suitable dust-control equipment for the assessed site.
Discuss compatible cleaning for cabinets, fixtures and finished surfaces.
Assess access and surface condition; adhesive removal and scraping are not assumed.
Identify new-floor care instructions and approved cleaning products.
Distinguish cleaning issues from defects, damage or unfinished construction.
Options are agreed for each quotation; they are not a blanket list of included tasks. Specialist and regulated work needs separate assessment.

Identify what dust is present and whether specialist controls are needed. For ordinary assessed dust, use suitable vacuum equipment rather than dry sweeping it into the air. Ordinary cleaning equipment is not a substitute for hazardous-dust controls.
Follow product labels and relevant safety information. Never mix cleaning products. Where disinfection is specifically required, clean first and follow the stated contact time.

Check manufacturer care instructions, then use compatible cloths and products. Avoid scraping paint, adhesive or protective films without approval. Work systematically so settled dust is not transferred onto finished surfaces.
Follow product labels and relevant safety information. Never mix cleaning products. Where disinfection is specifically required, clean first and follow the stated contact time.
Review the condition, surfaces, priorities and written scope.
Check equipment, compatible products and safe access.
Follow a clear route and separate cleaning zones.
Check agreed tasks and identify concerns or exclusions.
Confirm how completion and any concerns will be communicated before service begins.
Size, condition, surface materials, access, task detail and frequency all influence the work. Clarify supplies and specialist tasks so quotations can be compared fairly.
Plan Your Cleaning Request ↗Ideally, when the relevant work is complete enough for cleaning and other trades won’t immediately make the same areas dusty again. Share the project stage and intended handover date. Site readiness and access need to be checked before scheduling.
Do not assume debris removal is included. Large waste, offcuts, hazardous materials and disposal arrangements need to be discussed separately. Tell us what is on site so the quotation distinguishes cleaning from waste clearance.
These residues need careful assessment because scraping or using the wrong product can damage a new surface. Identify the materials and any manufacturer instructions before work begins. Specialist residue removal should be confirmed rather than treated as routine wiping.
Flag that before arranging cleaning. Hazardous dust or materials need specialist assessment and appropriate controls. This service page describes general post-construction cleaning and does not confirm hazardous-material removal capability.
Active works introduce different hazards and can re-soil completed areas. Explain what work is still taking place, the access restrictions and the areas you want cleaned. Suitability must be assessed before any active-site work is accepted.
Send the location, approximate floor area, project stage, finishes and main cleaning requirements. Include the target handover date and who is responsible for waste removal. A walkthrough can help when the scope is difficult to describe.
Cleaning can improve presentation, but it is not an occupancy approval or safety clearance. Construction defects, compliance checks and permissions remain separate responsibilities. Agree what the cleaning review will cover before handover.
